Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

Template provided for guidance only. Have it reviewed by legal counsel before official use.

1. Nature of the service

Conformètre provides an automated, informational assessment of how well a website conforms to Québec’s Charter of the French Language (Bill 96).

Results flag potential gaps and suggested fixes. They are not legal advice and do not replace consultation with a legal professional.

2. Accuracy of results

The analysis is automated and may contain errors or omissions. You remain responsible for verifying your site’s actual compliance against official sources and, where needed, with legal counsel.

3. Limitation of liability

Conformètre is provided “as is”, without warranty. We accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of the reports produced.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to scan only websites you are authorized to assess, and not to use the service for any unlawful purpose.
